We are excited because we have written a letter to a group of Rainbow Girls in Cumbria, England. Rainbows is like Pippins in New Zealand.
They have been learning about New Zealand and are going to have a New Zealand night soon.
In our letter, we told them all about who we are, our age, what school we go to and what we like to do in class and at play time. We also told the girls how to introduce themselves in Maori - something we have been learning.
When we send the letter, Miss Swan is going to also send them a few New Zealand goodies. We have been reading Mr Mayor's Pavlova Palava in class so we thought we could send the girls a Kiwi Pavlova Recipe to try out on their night.
We can't wait to hear back from them!!
